A fine French fan/éventail attributed to Duvelleroy

A fine French fan/éventail attributed to Duvelleroy, or possibly Faucon of Paris. Entirely hand-painted on paper (the reverse is of silk) with much of the decoration highlighted by tiny sequins, both gold and silver. The sticks are very finely pierced and the guards well carved with trophies of musical instruments, flowers, etc.

The condition is excellent, but with (what look like) two small circular burn marks, verso top left corner: these are not visible from the front. The fan is contained within a carton, silk-lined box, labelled'Tiffany & Cie. 36bis Avenue de l'Opéra, Paris'.
