Six are solid and four matching plates have a 3/4" x 2-3/4" diamond perforated panel. The solid plates were on stained doors and the perforated were on painted doors but may be used either way. They were removed from a turn-of the century 1915-25 auto-mogul mansion in Flint Michigan prior to demolishing in 1995.
I have owned them for 24-years. The ten stack up in less than 1/2 height due to the precise stamping and their combined weight is 872 grams, 1.92 US pounds. Individual push plate weight is. 192 pounds or 3 ounces. They should be attached by four small brass brads that are NOT included, thru.
Holes on each push plate. The item "Antique French Empire & Louis XV Style Finely Stamped Brass- 10 Door Push Plates" is in sale since Monday, August 12, 2019. This item is in the category "Antiques\Decorative Arts\Metalware". The seller is "kize" and is located in Englewood, Florida.
