The spoon handle has a traditional beaded pattern. The spoon has never been monogrammed. It is marked in the bowl with a French 1. Standard mark, a post-1878 French export mark and the [EP] makers mark of Puiforcat.Condition on the spoon is fairly good. There are some shallow dents in the bowl but they do not detract much. There are normal signs of use and it has not been buffed. A fine antique French server by an excellent maker.
